P-CANC-1 · The FOT Definition of Cancer

Cancer is the uncoupling of Strand 1 (the replication programme) from Strand 2 (the Tau-regulatory signal). When Strand 2 H-bond tension is lost at a specific Tau-address in the DNA, Strand 1 continues executing without the Strand 2 brake — producing unlimited replication.

P-CANC-1
Cancer = Strand 1 replication running without Strand 2 Tau-regulation. The oncogenic mutation is not the cause but the symptom: loss of Strand 2 coupling at a specific DNA Tau-address. Tau-address corruption is reversible; Tau-address deletion is not.

P-CANC-2 · The Warburg Effect as Tau-Energy Diversion

Cancer cells use aerobic glycolysis rather than oxidative phosphorylation — choosing 2 ATP over 36 ATP. In FOT this is Strand-1-only energy: the minimal {2} lattice programme, abandoning the full {2,3} Tau-cycle.

Full Tau-cycle (OXPHOS): 36 ATP = 2² × 3² Glycolysis (Strand 1 only): 2 ATP = 2¹ Ratio: 36 / 2 = 18 = 2 × 3² Cancer chooses the Strand-1-only {2} sub-lattice.

18 = 2 × 3² is the same factor as the water bond angle (18/π² rad, P-MOL-1). The Warburg effect is the metabolic signature of Strand 2 decoupling — not an inefficiency but a structural marker.

P-CANC-3 · Metastasis as Tau-Node Fragmentation

A cell that loses its primary Tau-address coupling loses spatial registration within the tissue Tau-field and migrates via the blood (the G1 Tau-medium) to whichever register boundary it can couple with. Metastatic tropism (breast cancer to bone, lung cancer to brain) reflects Tau-address proximity in the DNA lattice — not chemical signals.

P-CANC-4 · Telomerase as Strand 2 Bypass

Cancer cells reactivate telomerase to reset the Tau-counter without restoring Strand 2 regulation. FOT prediction: telomerase inhibition alone will not cure cancer because it addresses the counter, not the coupling deficit. Successful treatment requires Tau-address restoration.

A Strand-2-decoupled cell with inhibited telomerase remains cancerous. It will find ALT (alternative lengthening of telomeres) bypass mechanisms. Cure requires coupling restoration — not just counter inhibition.
