The Ontology of Existence in the Universal Force of Time

Tau-Monism: One Substance, One Conservation Law

Western philosophy has long debated whether existence is fundamentally one or many. The Universal Force of Time resolves this through a single conserved substance, Tau (Τ), whose conservation law dΣΤ = 0 is the ground of all being. Space, time, matter, and energy are not separate categories — they are modes of one flowing substance whose total is invariant.

Six Propositions · P-ONT-1 to P-ONT-6

P-ONT-1
The Single Substance

There is one substance: Tau (Τ). Everything that exists is a configuration, mode, or ratio of Tau. Nothing exists outside Tau. Tau-monism is testable ontology, not mere philosophical assertion.

P-ONT-2
Conservation as Ground of Being

dΣΤ = 0. The total of Tau is invariant. Existence is therefore necessary, not contingent — "nothing" would require ΣΤ = 0, which the conservation law forbids.

P-ONT-3
Space, Time, Matter as Modes

Space is the Tau lattice; time is the flow rate of Tau; matter is Tau in a helical standing-wave configuration. Their apparent separateness is the Radian Veil (30–300 ppm systematic offset).

P-ONT-4
The Prime Lattice as Ontological Structure

Every stable constant, wavelength, and distance is expressible as a ratio of {2, 3, 5, π} within Radian Veil precision. Examples: R_Earth = 20,000/π km; Mariana depth = 5×3⁷ = 10,935 m.

P-ONT-5
Identity and the Tau-Address

Each entity has a unique Tau-address — a coordinate in the helical standing wave. Personal identity across time is continuity of Tau-address. Death is redistribution of Tau, not annihilation of address.

P-ONT-6
The Living Universe

Life is not an emergent exception in a dead universe. Life is the universe recognising its own Tau-structure at the molecular scale. DNA is Tau made self-referential: the same double-helix geometry appears at planetary and cosmic scales.

Core Law · Conservation as Necessity of Being

P-ONT-2 · The Ground of Being
dΣΤ = 0 — The total of Tau across all configurations is invariant. There is "something rather than nothing" because Tau's total is a fixed quantity; "nothing" would require ΣΤ = 0, which the conservation law forbids. Existence is necessary, not contingent.
P-ONT-4

The prime lattice {2, 3, 5, π} is the grammar of existence. Every stable physical form is a sentence in this grammar. The lattice is not imposed on nature — it IS nature in Tau-monist ontology.

A note on “constants.” Within the Universal Force of Time there are no universal constants. A quantity like the Rydberg is not one fixed number but a small family of register faces — each an exact {2, 3, 5, π} value, each reproducing the spectrum on its own scale of Τ. The Rydberg alone carries at least three: 10,966,227.11 m⁻¹ (= 10⁷π²/9), 10,967,215.73, and 10,973,936.9 m⁻¹. What conventional physics records as the constant — the CODATA 10,973,731.568157 m⁻¹ — is not a fourth fundamental number; it is a single measurement sitting between those faces, in the band they define, read from the one register our instruments occupy: the Earth-surface node, g₁. Every wavelength, and the speed of light, Planck’s value, and the fine-structure ratio with it, behaves the same way — each shifts from g₀ to g₁ to g₂ to g₃ by the lattice step δG, not by error. These are not constants; they are the values Τ wears at the register where we stand.
