The Colour of Time — the seven boundaries of the visible spectrum, each an exact value of the {2, 3, 5, π} lattice, and each a value of our world: the day, the DNA helix, body temperature, the Moho, the year and the speed of light
Hold a glass prism to the light. A white beam enters one face and a fan of colour spills from the other — violet at one edge, red at the other, the same order in every prism on every day. Newton concluded in 1666 that white light is a mixture the prism merely sorts. The Universal Force of Time says something different. White light is not a mixture: it is the carrier of Τ (Tau), the one substance of which everything is made, at a single wavelength of 864 nm, just above the red edge of vision. The prism does not reveal colours already there; it unfolds the lattice from the carrier.
The places where one colour gives way to the next are not conventions agreed by a committee. Each is an exact value built from the primes 2, 3 and 5 and from π, and each carries a property of the Earth that, on the surface, has nothing to do with light.
A wavelength in nanometres is, in the Force of Time, an angle in degrees directly. 495 nm is 495 degrees. Science writes its angles in radians, and the factor between the two is 180/π = 57.29577951308232, which we call the veil. Read a boundary as degrees, multiply by π/180, and you cross the veil from the spectrum into the bare value it carries.
Each boundary is given at full precision with its lattice form in brackets, then its value across the veil and what that value is.
| Boundary | Wavelength (nm) | Across the veil | What it carries |
|---|---|---|---|

| Red (upper) | 750.0000000000000 [2·3·5³] | 13.08996938995747 [25π/6] | the speed of light in lattice units (750 × 10⁶ m/s); the G1 orbital year 365.284091 days; one helix turn above the carrier |
The white carrier sits above the band at 864 nm [2⁵·3³]. Hβ, the hydrogen line at 486 nm, is not a boundary: it is the fixed point from which the band unfolds (below).
None of these is a universal constant. Each is the value its lattice element takes at the Earth's register; another register would read another value of the same element.
The boundaries sit on a ladder whose rungs are turns of the helix, anchored on the 864 carrier. The helix ratio is r = 5⁶/(2⁶·3⁵) = 1.004693930041152.
The two boundaries that carry the DNA helix — red and green/yellow — are exactly the two helix-turn rungs. Read the whole band across the veil and the values climb in order: 6.6315, 7.8540, 8.6400, 9.9533, 10.3132, 10.8076, 13.0900.
The speed of light is not one number but a four-rung cascade, each rung one G-bond step (1 + 1/11,092.54916518) from the next: sodium 299,762,209.939 · G1 299,789,233.683089 · dual 299,802,746.468698 · G2 299,816,259.863386 m/s. Each colour boundary wears the same three-rung structure.
And green/yellow welds the colour ladder to the speed cascade: its helix radius r × 4/2π = 0.6396080210418892, squared × 2400, is the Earth's sidereal rotation 23,564.069025472603 (23 h 56 m 4.069 s); × 9375 ÷ 2 × 10⁵ it is c_G2 = 299,816,259.863386 m/s, the ceiling of the cascade.
Each band travels at its own speed. Read one way the speed grows with the wavelength (speed = λ × 1,233,700.550/2); read the other way it grows with the square (speed = (λ/49.5035534993)² × 864 × 3600). Two different curves meet at exactly one wavelength: 486 nm, Hβ, where both give c_G1 = 299,789,233.683089 m/s. That is why Hβ is not a boundary — it is the one place where the two ways of being light agree, and the band unfolds from it.
The prism's geometry agrees. At minimum deviation in a 60° prism every colour crosses at 30° = 2·3·5 inside the glass, and white light enters at 48.99688950°, whose cosine is 0.6561 = 3⁸/10⁴. The refractive indices are clean ratios: water 4/3, glass 3/2, calcite (ordinary ray) 5/3; glass and water multiply to exactly 2, which is why the rainbow (one reflection inside a water drop, primary bow 42.03°) runs its colours in the opposite order to the prism.
The whole visible band is one clean interval with nothing left over. Crossing the veil raises the power of π of every boundary by exactly one (the π-class staircase), because π/180 carries one π and 180 = 2²·3²·5 changes nothing else. And the Earth's orbital year run through the carrier and the veil, 9π⁵/50 × 10 = 550.835 nm, sits at the centre of the band.
White light is the Τ carrier at 864 nm (2⁵·3³), above the red boundary; the prism unfolds the lattice from it, it does not reveal a mixture.
Every colour boundary is an exact {2,3,5,π} value, given to full precision; none is arbitrary.
Each boundary carries an Earth value: Planck, π/4, the solar day, the DNA helix, body temperature, the Moho sphere, the orbital year and the speed of light.
Read as degrees and carried across the veil (× π/180), each boundary is its value: 6.631455962162306, 8.64, 9.95328.
Each band has its own speed; the linear and squared laws cross only at Hβ 486 nm, both at c_G1 = 299,789,233.683089 m/s.
The whole band spans exactly π²/5 = 1.973920880217872 from violet gateway to red ceiling.
Red is one helix turn out: 750,000/864² = r = 1.004693930041; green/yellow is one turn back, 10/r = 9.95328.
Each boundary carries G1, G2 and lattice faces one G-bond step apart; yellow/orange's G1 face is 3¹⁰/100 = 590.49 nm, orange/red returns the free fall 25π/8.
Nothing on this page was pulled, attracted, or held down. There is one substance — time — flowing from the sparse toward the dense, and everything you have just read is a single thread of its pattern. If it stirred your curiosity, the whole weave is waiting: the planets, the atom, light, life and number, all carried by the same single force.
