Three levels of light in the living cell, one address of time — hydrogen, Mercury and the Moho.
Grind a kidney to powder and every molecule it was made of is still there. Shine infrared light through the powder and it answers with the notes of all those molecules. Shine the same light through the living kidney and it answers with one note more.
In September 2026 a team at Fudan University and the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology — Yu Yang, Zhenglong Gu and Bo Song — traced that note to the mitochondrion, the cell's power station. A bond vibration in its folded membranes splits into three levels, which they labelled 71, 87 and 103 terahertz. The right infrared light raised the cell's stored energy; light at another frequency did nothing.
The Universal Force of Time already holds that the mitochondrion is a register of time — the place where the flow becomes usable power — and that the right colour of light, played back to it, lifts its output. What the theory has not had until now is the frequencies. This paper puts all three on the lattice of time.

Every level begins at hydrogen's weight — the hydrogen the mitochondrion spends its life handling — and reaches its frequency through the theory's fixed gears.

The Moho's two faces. The upper boundary of the discontinuity is the G2 radius, 6366.1977236758 km; the lower boundary is the G1 radius, 6365.6238588442 km. Between them lies a layer just over half a kilometre thick — the depth where linear and orbital time come in as one.
The Universal Force of Time moves a value between dimensions with fixed gears. A frequency ÷ 2π is a free fall; a free fall ÷ 24 is an energy in joules. And the energy has a doorway: its square root passes into the dimension above, as a radial mass.
The radial mass ÷ 864 is Mercury's orbit; two-thirds of it, 58.6349442375 days, is Mercury's rotation; turned once round the circle it is 368.4142201201 = 10⁶/(864π), Mercury's rotation node. And the radial mass × 9375 ÷ π²/8 is the wavelength 5774.6150182599 — the energy below, digit for digit. The energy of one dimension is the wavelength of the next.
Inside the dimension above, the wavelength 5774.6150182599 ÷ 495.0355349930 ÷ 24 = 0.4860438132 J — hydrogen's H-beta line on the second register, 486.0438131932.
The middle level is the C–H bond's own note, and the theory reaches the bond by more than one road. It does not pretend to choose: each candidate is anchored in the theory, and the experiment decides.

The middle candidates lie within a fraction of a terahertz of one another — close enough for one laser to sweep them all.
The paper closes with a test in six arms, using nothing the original team does not already have: the same cells, the same infrared sources, the same measurement of stored energy. The G2 set, the G1 set, the bond's other faces and hydrogen's three limits are each played to the cell; neighbours just off the lattice, at the same power and time, are the control. If several arms answer, the order in which they answer is itself the result: it says which face the living mitochondrion keeps.
