A ten-paper, chapter-by-chapter reading of the standard introductions to metaphysics through a single thesis — that there is one substance, Τ, on its {2,3,5,π} lattice. Offered as one interpretation among the tradition’s rivals, advanced as their equal.
Metaphysics asks what there is, most fundamentally, and what its nature is. This series takes ten canonical problems — from ontology to personhood — and asks, of each, what follows once it is granted that there is only Τ. Each paper engages the received positions on their own terms and then derives the Force of Time’s account. None of these views, the theory’s own included, is established fact; they are reasoned attempts to interpret a reality none of us can step outside to check. The Force of Time is set among them as an equal, with the single distinguishing feature that, unlike most, it can be tested where it meets measurement.
